The rail park is a 1,420 acre development that is fully entitled and designated to accommodate warehousing, distribution and manufacturing operations. The size and topography of the site can serve any size rail operations including unit trains up to 10,000 feet. The industrial park will offer sites to purchasers from 5 to over 400 acres. The IAAAP is a 19,000 acre Army facility that boasts over 500 gross acres of perimeter industrial sites available for industrial development (all sites are located outside government manufacturing areas and buffers). The site provides access to over 100 miles of track, including 5 yards which link directly to the BNSF mainline that extends westward from Burlington to Mount Pleasant and eventually Des Moines and Omaha. The site is located in the northeast corner of Minot, north of Ward County Road 12. Approximately 80 acres of the site is graded and at a high level of readiness for construction. There are railroad tracks constructed on the west side of the property with the capability to construct spurs to service those lots.
